Newsaver Green – 825 Rust Remover

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

NEWSAVER GREEN^® – 825 is an acidic liquid scale and rust removal chemical based on inhibited HCl. This heavy duty acid will effectively remove scales and rust from ferrous and non ferrous metals. With built in inhibitors, it prevents the acid from attacking bare exposed metal surface. It is suitable for descaling of machinery’s, boilers and other ferrous or non ferrous metal surface that has a scale, rust coating.

DOSAGE & DIRECTION FOR USE

Dissolve of NEWSAVER GREEN^® – 825  in clean water up to a maximum strength of 20 % v/v , then applied into two methods of cleaning by soaking and spraying.

# Soak Cleaning

Soak the equipment to be descaled in NEWSAVER GREEN^® – 825 solution and agitate the solution for 15 – 20 minutes. Manual brushing may be necessary in some cases. A slightly higher temperature of approximately 35-40* centigrade will enhance the descaling and etching action to remove rust deposits. Rinse with water until all traces of scale and rust have been removed.

#Spray Cleaning

The chemical solution can be sprayed on to the metal surface by using an acid resistant spray gun, leave to stand for 5 – 10 minutes for reaction to complete and flush off with plenty of water. In some cases , manual cleaning may be necessary.

STORAGE

• Store in a cool and dry place
• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid from direct sunshine, alkali, chlorine material
• Do not open the container when not in use

FIRST AID

• Eye  :  Flush with water for at least 15 minutes
• Skin :  Wash with plenty of soap and water
• Inhalation  :  Remove to fresh air area
• Ingestion   :  Drink a large quantities of water/ milk

HANDLING

• Use in well ventilated area
• Do not mix with chlorinated compounds
• Do not use on metal surfaces containing aluminum, zinc or brass
